Favourites Milan were eliminated from the UEFA Cup yesterday after giving up two late goals to draw 2-2 with Werder Bremen and lose on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate final score.
Claudio Pizarro scored two headers in the second half after Andrea Pirlo and Alexandre Pato had scored in the first half.
Milan struggled to contain Bremen's set pieces, and Pizarro gave the German team its first goal by heading in Diego's free kick in the 69th minute.
