After a break of three weeks, the selection airgun competitions continued at the Bidnija shooting ranges the past weekend.

William Vella showed his consistent top shooting with an MQS score of 570 points –even though he was running a fever – to take first place.

Charlo Chircop (photo, above) who is improving his scores with every competition, placed second with a score of 544 ahead of Lawrence Darmanin who ended in third place with a score of 542 points.

Meanwhile, in the Air-pistol event, Ray Cacciattolo was the eventual winner with a score of 547 points.

Gino Galea refereed the matches and was assisted by Bernardette Chircop.
