Wilson Malta, through Amer Sports in Germany, have renewed their sponsorship agreement with Colette Sultana for another two years.

Wilson have been sponsoring Sultana, Malta’s top junior squash player, since 2007. During these past couple of years this promising young athlete has gone from strength to strength, proving herself also at international level.

Recently, Colette Sultana, who is still only 13 years old, was hailed as one of the top three Under-17 athletes in all sports in the annual national sporting contests organised by the Sports Writers Association and the Malta Sports Council. This was in recognition of her achievements during last year.

In 2008 Sultana won silver in the Austrian Junior Open and then gold in the Italian Junior Open in the Under-13 Girls category, reaching a top-10 ranking in Europe in this category.

Colette is now competing in the European circuit in the Under-15 age group. Her next European ranking tournament will be the Austrian Junior Open that will take place in Vienna between 6 and 8 March.

Colette Sultana is a member of the MOC Centre of Excellence.
