The first game from the promotion league was between Kavallieri and La Salle A. La Salle scored twice in a row before Kavallieri got one back through Alex Di Pilato. Kavallieri twice missed chances to level the match after John Scicluna saved to fast breaks from Matthew Aquilina.
Chris Magro had a very good match for La Salle and the total of 9 nine goals he scored secured his place at the top of the top scorers list. On the other hand, Kavallieri’s Luke Zammit produced some very good goals through out the match. First half ended 13 goals to 14 for La Salle A.
In the second half, Kavallieri levelled the match in the first minute and then in the 10th minute went ahead in the match. Kavallieri increased the lead to four goals. Then La Salle scored three times in a row to reduce the gap to one goal and on the 28th minute they levelled the match. Kavallieri had the chance to win the match in the last 15 seconds however La Salle’s keeper saved the last shot. The match ended 24 goals all.

In the second game Aloysians faced Luxol HC. Luxol scored in the first minute of the game, however immediately after Aloysians levelled the match. Then Aloysians scored eight goals a row to make the score 8-2.
Daniel Tanti had a very good game for Luxol. On the other hand, Lyden Zerafa scored 11 goals for his team through out the match. In the second half Luxol playes better. They defended better and scored more goals. The match ended 29 goals to 10.
