It is a football constructed more or less on the same lines as that of the Stade Louis II in Monaco, which is situated on the fifth storey of a big sports complex.

The Sliema W. project does not only include the full size 11-a-side football field, but also two five-a-side pitches, also with artificial turf surfaces. The project also includes rooms for the administration, dressing rooms for players and the technical staff, the nursery as well as a cafeteria. The Sliema W. complex will also house the club’s nursery which caters for over 200 children. No competitive matches will be played at the complex. It will be a training complex at a premium residential area, although some friendly matches might be held in future.
