Dingli S 2
St Lucia 4
St Lucia are on maximum points from two games while Dingli are on three points, also from two games. The Yellow/Blues deserved the verdict as they were the better outfit during the whole 60 minutes.
The first four actions came from St Lucia. Gilmour Falzon served Dwayne Caruana in the area but Dingli keeper Andrew Muscat foiled him with a timely sortie. The goalie later denied Emerson Farrugia with a diving save.
St Lucia opened the score after six minutes when Falzon served Farrugia in the area and he scored with a low shot.
Dingli reacted and created two actions in a row from one of which Jonathan Turner hit the bar with a header which had St Lucia keeper Luke Pace beaten.
Between the 20th and 24th minutes St Lucia added two further goals. Dwayne Caruana scored with a low shot and the same player made it 3-0 after being put through by Kirsten Curmi.
Three minutes before half time Dingli reduced the gap when Noel Micallef lobbed the ball from the edge of the area to beat the opposing goalie.
After the resumption, St Lucia were reduced to 10 men in the 53rd minute as Emerson Farrugia was shown the red card for using foul and abusive language towards the referee.
Dingli reduced the gap again in the 54th minute through Ciantar, but just before the final whistle, St Lucia scored a fourth goal through Kurt Attard after a Falzon flag kick.

APS Bank U/7 Section C3
Attard had a very easy outing against newcomers Vittoriosa who are still without any points from four games. They managed to score seven goals without reply and their keeper Wallace Galea could have stayed at home because he only touched the ball from back passes by his colleagues.
Attard opened the score on the 14th minute when Cachia served Josef Azzopardi in the area and as Vittoriosa keeper Loran Zarb came out to kick the ball upfield it hit Nigel Spiteri and finished at the back of the net.
Till the interval, Attard scored two more goals through Josef Azzopardi and Josha Gauci.
The match still had no story in the second half as Attard added four more goals.
Ryan Micallef scored from the rebound after the ball was partially cleared from a free kick by Andre' Hili in the 56th minute.
Four minutes later Jake Mizzi had the misfortune to deflect the ball in his own net in a desperate attempt to clear.
Between the 64th and 67th minutes Attard netted two goals through Ryan Micallef after a good spade work by Jean C Cachia.
