Players and officials of Italian football team Parma, currently occupying fourth spot in Italy’s Serie A, will be visiting Dar Tal-Providenza’s fund raising marathon this afternoon.

In collaboration with the Church’s radio station RTK, the charity event will take place in a tent which has been set up outside the residential centre’s parking bay. The marathon is expected to last all day, with President George Abela, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Opposition Leader Joseph Muscat expected to attend.
