The third in the series of cultural tours organised by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts will be held on Sunday, 24 January, visiting the newly restored Villa Francia in Lija, the Carmelite museum and convent in Mdina and Palazzo Stagno in Qormi. The tour will also take in the National Centre for Research and Development in Ghammieri and the Australian Bungalow that was used to train Maltese nationals in construction techniques prior to their emigration to Australia.
The meeting places are Floriana (next to the Independence Monument) and Sliema (opposite the Nazzarene Church) at 8.45am. Tickets cost e11 for adults and e8.50 for senior citizens and children. Departure for English speaking participants is Sliema.
