The Grand Master Emeritus of the Knights Hospitallers of the Sovereign Order of St John of Jerusalem, Adrian Busietta, has inaugurated the Castello Dei Baroni as a tourist attraction.

Built in 1783 during the time of Grandmaster Emanuel de Rohan Polduc, the Castello Dei Baroni in Wardija is one of Malta’s formerly hidden historical treasures. The castle and its grounds are open to the public.

The Castello Dei Baroni is the first tourist attraction in Malta offering displays of ancient pastimes and sports, such as falconry.
