For the first time ever, Lidl Malta will be organising an extended opening hours week from Monday 9 till Saturday 14 August. All five Lidl stores in Sta Venera, San Gwann, Zejtun, Safi and Luqa will be open all week from 7am till 11pm. Shoppers who work late will have no reason to rush to other supermarkets as they can take advantage of the longer opening hours and shop to their hearts content at Lidl. It could also open the opportunity for customers from Gozo to enjoy a saving-shopping-trip and make use of the specials during the Santa Maria week.

Promotions and food tasting during the evening will also be available in store. Shoppers can benefit from a special non-food sale from Tuesday till Saturday between 8 and 11pm. Lidl will also organise a Lidl Happy Family Day especially intended for customers with children, on Saturday 14 August between 11am and 6pm, where all families making their weekly shopping at Lidl can take advantage of the entertainment for children. From 11am face painters and from midday balloon modellers will keep children happy in the Sts Venera, Zejtun, Safi and Luqa shops.

“The extended opening hours week at Lidl should be quite exciting with daily late night shopping, special sales on non-food items and the Lidl Happy Family Day on Saturday. Shoppers will have the opportunity to not only do their weekly shopping, but also get the last minute ingredients for a good barbecue all day and into the late evening during the Sta Maria week. We are looking forward to give our regular shoppers and many new ones more special promotions than we normally have on offer,” said a spokesman for Lidl Malta.
