Malta’s leading radio station 89.7BAY and top notch flight training entity, Diamond Flight Training have teamed up to offer the ultimate prize, A private pilot licence course all for free. This is a first for the Maltese radio scene, where a prize worth no less than 10,000 euro is up for grabs.

Diamond Flight Training was set up just over a year ago, and has distinguished itself for a number of firsts. The company was at the forefront of technology. As a matter of fact it imported a training aircraft equipped with a full EFIS cockpit. This has raised the local training levels to unprecedented levels.

The competition is being held during 89.7BAY’s breakfast show ably presented by Drew. He is a huge aviation fanatic and even has a pilot’s licence. This has facilitated initial discussions between DFT and 89.7BAY, as both understood each other’s requirements to perfection. During the coming weeks, Drew will be calling listeners, asking a number of questions, funnelling the whole lot to just ONE winner, who will be given the chance to achieve the dream of a life time.
