Students attending training classes in Mon Lung Kung Fu have recently been awarded certificates and sashes after they successfully passed their grading examination held at the school premises, 166 Manwel Dimech Street, Sliema.

Students from advanced classes were examined in the theory and practice of this Chinese ancient art of the dragon by the well known expert of Kung Fu sifu Charles Gaffiero, who is also the founder of Kung Fu in Malta.

Witnesses and observers for these examinations spread over two sessions were sifu Noel Gatt, sifu Alan Bickle, sifu Mario Farrugia, sifu Daniel Portelli and sifu Gordon Cauchi in the presence of student members attending training classes at the Mon Lung Kung Fu kwoon.

Among other moves, the participants had to exhibit their skills in striking, blocking, combination of moves, execution of forms, study of vital points in the human body and how to defend themselves against aggressors.
