Bugibba Beach overrun by Seaweed

The Labour Party Committee of St Paul’s Bay yesterday hit out at the government for having left the beach just below Bugibba’s main square completely blanketed in seaweed, which has become an eyesore as well as a source of bad smells. The committee laid the problem at the government’s door, saying it is the government that is responsible for the upkeep of tourist zones. It appealed to the ministries concerned to take action as soon as possible in the interests of the area’s residents and the tourists staying there
