A father and son have been hospitalised after the ceiling of a house in Marsa collapsed early on Sunday morning.

A police spokesperson told The Malta Independent that the incident happened at around 9:10am in a house situated in Triq San Mikiel in Marsa.

Two people – one adult and one child – were injured and have been taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The child is 10 years old, while the age of the adult – his father – is still not known.

Their condition, thus far, is unknown.
