Many associate ZiguZajg, the annual Arts Festival held in November, with theatre and art solely for younger children.  But the festival actually caters for a wide span of ages, ranging from 0 up to 16 and over. Now in its third year, the 2013 edition of ZiguZajg is once again offering a varied and stimulating programme of events for teenagers, amongst other age groups. Below are just some of the events specifically targeted at a teenage audience. THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF EUROPE (MORE OR LESS) The Laughing Matters team are back with their trademark madcap style; this time tackling the entire history of Europe from the formation of the continent right up to the current formation of the EU. NEITH: PERFORMING OUR WORLD Presented by Lou Ghirlando, Diana Cauchi, Veronique Vella and Jo Tabone, the performance is inspired by the myth of Neith, the Egyptian virgin goddess of Creation, and is aimed at adolescents with profound and multiple learning disabilities who will be invited into a space that will engage them three-dimensionally as the Earth is woven around them.  THE ANIMALS AND CHILDREN TOOK TO THE STREETS 19-27 group from the UK invites you on a theatrical journey of startling originality. This show will surely appeal to people who are interested in interdisciplinary theatre, film and media and new forms of performance.  CLUB Brought to you by Teatru Manoel Youth Theatre, this performance explores the world of today's cyber-teenager. It deals with consequences and asks the question 'How far would you go to belong?' THE ZIGZAG KID A Dutch film with English sub-titles, the film won the ‘Young Audience Award'  at the European Film Awards 2013. It is a film about a boy who wants to prove himself to his police inspector father, and who enters a world of disguises and chases and French chansons. He also meets Zohara, a mysterious woman whose secrets will change Nono's life forever. SYNC IN PROGRESS The Redtape Dance Company present an interdisciplinary performance which takes the form of a physical dance piece with spoken word and interactive projections, original music, digital animation and photography. It presents allegories that present visions of the future and play on the hopes and anxieties surrounding technology.  GHAJN-EYE-THREE A comedy presented by the Aleateia Theatre Company involving four secondary school teachers whose student Jeremy Fiteni has affected their personal lives, but who has now disappeared.
