A lecture by the Malta Historical Society is being organised at Din l-Art Helwa premises.  Stephen Degiorgio will speak about the church of Our Lady of Victory in Valletta focusing on its development under the Order of the Knights of Malta followed by the turbulent French period and the take-over by the British, the stripping of its parish status and many of its valuables.

The restoration of the church is one of Din l-Art Helwa’s key projects. The lecture is undertaken with the support of the Alfred Mizzi Foundation and will be held on 20 May at 6.30pm at DLH, 133, Melita Street Valletta.
