A Russian man is in a critical condition after finding himself in difficulty while swimming in Qui-Si-Sana, in Sliema, the police said today.
Officers from the Sliema Police Station were informed about the case today at about 2pm. Preliminary police investigations found that the man was helped to shore by three persons who were nearby.
He was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
