For the first time ever, The Inspire Foundation and Puttinu Cares have come together to present Malta's first ever WaterBalloon Fight Festival.
The aim of this event is to arm people with copious quantities of water balloons, which shall be filled with sea-water, in order to raise funds for both organisations. The balloon fight will take place on the 30th of August from 5pm onwards. The 3000-person battle shall be taking place at the Floriana Grounds, which was generously donated free of charge, ensuring that all funds make their way to worthy causes.
In addition to contributing towards two worthy causes, no water will be wasted during the balloon fight due to the use of sea-water. The balloons will also be disposed of appropriately, in order to avoid unnecessary pollution and safeguard the environment.
The Inspire Foundation works with children and adults with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy. Puttinu Cares is a cancer support group focused on providing a holistic approach of care for families with children suffering from cancer.
There is a fee of €5 per game for adults (50 balloons) and €3 per game for children (30 balloons).
