This winter refit period for Palumbo Malta super yachts started earlier than previous years with the arrival of MY Serenem the company said in a statement. The 134m mega yacht arrived in Malta to last Sunday the 23rd of August early in the morning.

Catering for approximately 50 super yachts per year, it is of great satisfaction for Palumbo Malta Super Yachts to be carrying out works on the 12th largest super yacht in the world, the company said. This yacht has been entrusted to us by a well renowned management company in the yachting sector with whom we have built a good long term relationship by refitting other yachts managed by the same company at our Yards.

During this stay the vessel is being accommodated in the yard’s no. 2 graving dock, being the largest dock available in Malta for the super yacht sector, whilst its crew during off-duty, is taking the opportunity to enjoy the leisure facilities that the yard created specifically for this purpose

The mega yacht was built in 2011 by Fincantieri (Italy) and is built in steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Serene's interior layout sleeps up to 24 guests in 15 staterooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 10 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. The mega yacht is also capable of carrying up to 52 crew onboardto ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. The Boat is equipped with a Gym, Jacuzzi (on deck), Lift (Elevator), Helicopter Landing Pad, Tender Garage, Swimming Platform, Swimming Pool, an exhaustive list of toys, Submarine Hanger and a cinema.
