The Attorney General's office has confirmed that the inquiry into the Paqpaqli incident, when a Porsche 918 careened into a crowd of spectators, has been concluded.
The report was passed on to the AG’s office last Monday, it also confirmed.
Conclusions of the inquiry, which was conducted by Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera, are currently unkown.
28 people were injured during the incident, some of which were grievously injured. The Porsche was being driven by a British millionaire named Paul Bailey, who was also hospitalised. One week after the incident took place and the magistrate heard his evidence, Mr Bailey returned back to the UK.
The event was held in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.
