CCIF working together with Alliance Foundation and Malta Institute of Professional Photography are holding an intercultural dialogue event under a project co funded by MCCF/L-istrina in a project called Malta Sharing Diversity.
The project brings together people from different cultures to debate, and discuss critical issues affecting our communities, while coming up with sustainable solutions to address the challenges.
Malta Sharing Diversity includes dialogue, multicultural food, multicultural dressing, storytelling and multicultural games as a way of bringing together different people from different cultures living in Malta.
The first of the multicultural events will be held at the Archbishop Seminary in Rabat, tomorrow Saturday.
The first event will be on cultural awareness, and will be complemented by a multicultural lunch featuring cuisine from Serbia, Pakistan and Nigeria. The event will run for the whole day, ending with a networking session with two live musicians from Ghana performing and our youth DJ playing multicultural music.
The partners behind the project appreciate and acknowledge the support offered by MCCF in making this initiative possible and are looking forward to results that will make a difference in the issues surrounding intercultural relationships, to tackle issues like inclusion, violent extremism, integration, citizenship and etc.
