A man, believed to be a foreigner, was taken to hospital this morning after he was stabbed following an argument involving a number of people in Swieqi, the police said.
The incident took place in Keffa Street at 8am.
The man was stabbed with a sharp and pointed instrument. The police later said that he is in critical condition.
