Woman injured a week ago in St Andrews traffic accident dies

The 52-year-old woman who was injured in a traffic accident in St Andrew’s last week has died, the police said today.

The woman was Marthese Zarb. Her family have donated her organs.

Two passengers were in critical condition after the cars they were in were involved in a traffic accident in St Andrews last Saturday.

The accident took place at 8.45pm. A Fiat Punto driven by a 41-year-old of Zabbar and a Mazda 121 driven by a 53-year-old of Pembroke were involved in the crash.

Two passengers in the Fiat, a 52-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, were seriously injured and were found to be in critical condition.

The Punto driver was slightly injured while the other driver was seriously hurt.
