The House Business Committee is set to meet again on Wednesday, more than two months after its last meeting.

The HBC’s last meeting was held on 1 December.

Opposition Whip David Agius told The Malta Independent that the HBC should be meeting more often in order to improve parliament’s efficiency.

“The PN parliamentary group meets regularly, and I assume that the PL’s parliamentary group does likewise. But I am unable to inform my colleagues of the House’s programme for them to be able to plan ahead. The HBC should meet on a more regular basis,” he said.
