The Opposition has no idea of what it is saying regarding EU funds, the Labour Party said today. The PL said that the PN is simply interested in repeating untruths about the Citadella project in Gozo.

The Citadella project, said the PL, is proof of the incompetence of the previous administration which constantly spoke about the project but never did anything about it. The PL said that no funds will be lost and the project has almost been completed by the present government.

Turning to the Coast Road project, the PL said that as approved by the European Commission, the government thought it would be more prudent to invest the funds, which were at risk, into education.
