Updated - Technical issues: Government ICT services fully restored after disruption

Following extensive analysis of the technical issues experienced on Tuesday 9th February 2016, MITA is now in a position to confirm that all Government ICT Services have been restored successfully, the authority said in a statement at 3am Wednesday.

MITA today informed the general public that due to unforeseen technical difficulties, various Government ICT Services are currently unavailable.

As soon as the problem was identified at 4.55pm through MITA's proactive monitoring tools, MITA technical personnel immediately triggered its established diagnosis procedures.

 In the meantime a number of services are being gradually restored.

From preliminary analysis there are no indications that this incident is security related.

MITA would like to apologise for any inconveniences caused. Further communication will be issued in due course.
