To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the arrival of the statue of Mary Star of the Sea at the Stella Maris Parish Church in Sliema, the parish community together with the Stella Maris Philharmonic Band will be presenting the Oratorio Marija Kewkba tal-Baħar at the Stella Maris parish church on Friday, 7 May at 7.30pm. 

The Oratorio Marija Kewkba tal-Baħar has lyrics by Prof. Oliver Friggieri and music by Mro Michael Pulis, resident conductor of the Stella Maris Philharmonic Band.

Mro Pulis will conduct the Stella Maris Philharmonic Band with the participation of  soprano Karen Camilleri, tenor Joseph Aquilina, baritone Alfred Camilleri and the Coro Bel Canto directed by Mro Hermann Frantz.

Entrance for the Oratorio is free.
