Singer Ira Losco has said that the gender of the baby she is expecting is male as she prepares to face the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday.

Ira publicly announced she was pregnant on Mother’s Day last Sunday, ending weeks of speculation about her state.

On Tuesday, she made it to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest with her song Walk on Water.

This evening, the last 10 finalists will qualify from the second semi-final.

The event is taking place in Stockholm.
