Watch: Police districts get 11 cars; 70 vehicles for corps in 30 months

Eleven cars were handed over to the police force, bringing the total number of vehicles and motorcycles added to the complement to 70 in the last 30 months, Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Abela said.

The vehicles were handed over in a ceremony that was held at Ta’ Kandja in the presence of acting police commissioner Lawrence Cutajar.

The vehicles were used during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. In all, the corps bought 40 of the vehicles at a cost of €400,000.
