Following last year's success, the Ta' Xbiex Local Council will be organising the second edition of its Festa Rizzi, the sea-urchin and seafood festival, on Saturday 11 June at the Yacht Marina parking area from 6pm onwards. 

This time the festa will be bigger, with more variety, better service and shorter queues - in an activity that attracts a good number of people who love seafood and sea-urchins in particular.  This time, however, chefs will be preparing dishes also for the non-seafood lovers.  

In addition to sea urchins, there will be various popular and original dishes.  One of the highlights of this year's Festa Rizzi will be the launch of the Sea-Urchin Pizza, which will be available for the first time ever in Malta, not to mention the traditional crafts area, children's play areas, educational themes and entertainment, which will highlight the evening.

Ta Xbiex Mayor Max Zammit comments, "After last year's success and massive attendance we felt the importance of investing in such an event by improving the product and service being offered, in order to make this festival ideal for families and people of all ages.  Visitors will be impressed with the variety of dishes and delicacies that will be prepared fresh on the day and all in line with the environment protection act."
