Aaron Sagaelu, born near Genova in 1964, lived in Germany, France and Italy and moved to Malta in 2012. He has worked as a creative director, specialised in manager's formation around Europe. His art is composed of deep emotional sensibility and reflects a multicultural influence. 

Mr Sagaelu visited Weimar in the 1980s and discovered Bauhaus. There is where he decided he wanted to become a professional artist. He is also inspired from icons like Le Corbusier, Cacharel, Joe Pomodoro and Gae Aulenti.

Mr Sagaelu is exhibiting his collection, Universe and Multiverse, during this month at Palazzo de Piro.

Universe and Multiverse consists of two streams of content, depicting the artist's vision of infinity and eternity within nature and the ''universe'' within each individual. The exhibition reflects spontaneity, tonal beauty and intimate subtlety.

The new collection reflects an altered state of consciousness in tonal gradations, textures and subtle colours. Sagaelu plays with colour in single and multi-image formats, achieving a natural spontaneity and conveys subliminal message in his latest collection. The works are expressive and transmits sensitivity to the movement. 

The painting entitled, Universe and Multiverse, will be unveiled during the inauguration night on Friday, 15 July at 7.30pm at Palazzo de Piro.
