The Gaulitanus Choir's busy festive season programme of events reaches a climax today when it will once again musically usher in the New Year with the fifth edition of A New Year's Toast. This annual fare will be held at the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, Gozo today at 7.45pm.

The event is supported by the Kempinski Hotel, Bank of Valletta and Playpen. A repeat performance will be held at the Hilltop Gardens, Naxxar, courtesy of the Hilltop's management, on Tuesday, 3 January at 7.30pm. Entrance for both performances is free.

The concert will prominently feature the Gaulitanus Choir and its soloists Annabelle Zammit, Patricia Buttigieg, Stephanie Sultana Portelli, Marthese Borg, Josianne Callus and Joseph Calleja accompanied by resident pianist Stephen Attard. The event will be under the artistic/musical direction of the choir's founder-director Colin Attard.

Presenting a festive musical repertoire including, among others, selections from The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof and a special New Year Medley - which surely helps to set a positive mood for the year's start, there's no better way to celebrate the New Year with oomph in a relaxed environment!
