Malta Enterprise has taken “all necessary disciplinary steps” against Jimmy Magro “as stipulated in his contract”, the entity said in a statement last night.
In a one-sentence statement, Malta Enterprise said it did so to safeguard the interests of the corporation and interested parties.
Malta Enterprise did not say what the disciplinary action is.
Earlier this week, a report by the Commission Against Corruption said that it “morally convinced” that in his capacity as a part-time special advisor to the Association of Local Councils, Jimmy Magro had requested payment whilst a tendering process for compost machinery was still open.
