The first meeting of the new Cabinet was held this morning at the Auberge de Castille in Valletta.
The cabinet, appointed last week, consists of the PM, 14 ministers and ten Parliamentary Secretaries.
The first version of Joseph Muscat’s 2013 cabinet had 23 members.
While a number of ministers were retained in their portfolios, some drastic changes were made, including the decision to appoint Justyne Caruana as Minister for Gozo instead of Anton Refalo.
During the last legislature the Cabinet frequently held meetings in localities around Malta rather than at Castille.
