The biggest agricultural event of the year is round the corner: Mnarja 2017 will be held at Buskett next Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 June.

Thousands of farmers and agricultural stakeholders would be impatiently waiting for this calendar show, which has evolved into a national agricultural event.

Farmers, animal breeders, animal lovers and gardeners would be exhibiting their products on these two days. On Wednesday from 5.30pm onwards, the visitors may enjoy the agricultural products on show and on the competition stands. The best quality local horticultural products can be seen during these two agricultural festive days. Visitors have a golden opportunity to see various Maltese grown crops in the great annual competition.

On Thursday as from early morning till noon there would be the competition of the farm animals. At 12 noon the winners will be conferred with their medals.

The organisers of Mnarja invite the public as to enjoy as well the extravagant atmosphere in Buskett, where besides the agricultural show there would be an entertaining programme and food kiosks on both days. The woodland would be lit and special arrangements have been undertaken to address the parking for the cars. Drivers can use the parking spaces near the Clapham Junction at the back side of Buskett as well along the streets leading to the core of the gardens.
