Monday, 10 July 2017, 13:15 Last update: about 10 years ago

The first Michelin-inspired dinner at Le Méridien St Julian's Hotel & Spa was a huge success and the 80 spots available at Taro Restaurant were snapped up in a day.

During last week's event, Michelin star chef Christian Bidard teamed up with Le Méridien's executive head chef Adrian Buttigieg and his brigade for a one-night, seven-course degustation.

"This Michelin Experience proved to be so popular that we plan to make this a staple on our annual calendar of events, coupled with similar culinary experiences every month," Alex Incorvaja, Le Méridien general manager, said.

Bidard, who owns Le Saint Lazare Restaurant at Abergement Clémenciat in France, was brought to Malta together with ECB, one of the leading hotel catering equipment suppliers in Malta.
