The road safety NGO J.E.S.S ( Justice to Ensure Safer Streets ) has supplief the Gozo police force with two pre approved/calabrated, state of the art Alcovisor-Jupiter breathalyzers.

Sseing that Gozo only had one breathalyzer for the entire island, J.E.S.S raised enough funds to purchase two more to help the police force of Gozo in its efforts to control the amount of drunk driving on the island's roads.

A written agreement was signed by the J.E.S.S President/Chairwoman Toni Ann Muscat and Police Superintendent Antinello Grech which states that these breathalyzers are to never be taken away from Gozo and that that they are solely for the use of the Gozo Police force.

Also in attendence was the Minister of Gozo Justine Caruana.

Donations were made by members of the public through private donations, memorial events held in honor of Tara Licari who lost her daughter to a car accident, donations made during fund raising events and donations made personally by the President of J.E.S.S and her family. With this donation and the hopes of more road side stops in Gozo our roads will be a little safer.

The J.E.S.S NGO was formed in honor of Jessica Tabone age 22 who lost her life in the early hours of 19 April 2015 on Xlendi Road, Gozo.

She is sadly missed by her family, the Muscat family and all who knew her.
