The Academy of Dance Arts organised A Night at the Opera last month at the Grandmaster's Palace in Valletta. This performance was held under the auspices of President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca and was in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation. The proceeds of the performance were donated to the MCCFF.
A donation of €2,000 was presented to the President on behalf of the MCCFF. Seen in the photo are Rowena Grech (to the President's right-hand side), principal of the Academy of Dance Arts, accompanied by Fiona Anastasi, Sara Bianchi and Elena Zammit, teachers at the Academy, presenting the donation to Her Excellency.
The students of the Academy performed a number of dances based on classical ballet, Spanish dance and contemporary dance.
The Academy of Dance Arts is a professional dance school teaching the most popular genres of dance including classical ballet, Spanish dance, Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary. The Academy's new studios are equipped with all the facilities and are located in Mosta.
