In their second friendly international played at the Centenary Stadium, the Malta Women's football team beat Estonia 4-1 thanks to four first-half goals.
Shona Zammit started the proceedings with a gem of a solo effort after 18 minutes after which the locals clearly took control of the match and scored three times more before half-time.
Jade Flask doubled the score on 32 minutes. Six minutes later, Zammit struck again with her second and Stephania Zammit made it four just before the half-time whistle.
Ulrike Tulp scored Estonia's only consolation goal on 63 minutes.
Clearly an encouraging win for Mark Gatt's side who have been showing good improvement during their last outings.
Malta, who welcomed back Martina Borg in attack, lost 0-1 to the same Estonia side earlier on Monday at the same venue.
