Rockestra, the concert that takes pop, rock and classical music and spins them on their tails to create an entertaining evening for all, was held on Saturday.

The event was organised by the Malta Community Chest Fund with the aim of raising funds for those in need. The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the musical direction of MPO chairman Sigmund Mifsud and artistic direction by Pawlu Borg Bonaci took part.

Some of the finest local artists, including Frank Calleja, Chris Grech, Raquela Dalli Gonzi, Matthew James Borg, Kenneth Calleja, Joe Roscoe and Mikaela Attard took part. There were also performances by Relikc, the Animae Gospel Choir and the Stagecoach Choir.
