Harp and Soprano Recital by Silke Aichhorn - harp, Christín Enke-Mollnar - soprano
The duo will delight the audience with a fascinating repertoire which includes the Ave Maria by Caccini, The Moldau by Smetana/Trneček and various exquisite Lieder by Mozart, Schubert, Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, Brahms and Grieg. Silke Aichhorn, the renowned German harpist, will be back at Bir Miftuħ, by general request. She is considered to be one of the most requested solo, chamber group and orchestral harpists of her generation. Her concerts are highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. She enthuses her listeners not only by her high virtuosity, her versatility and her precision, but also by producing such singing lines out of the harp. She has given concerts all over Europe, in Brazil, Thailand, Japan, Australia and the USA. She has 24 CDs to her credit.
Romanian-born, German soprano Christín Enke-Mollnar is an established name in the world of opera. She has appeared in famous theatres in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Russia and Canada and has performed at prestigious opera festivals. From 2007-2009 she toured the USA and India. Her operatic repertoire is vast and includes several leading roles. Together with Silke Aichhorn, she is co-founder of the duo/trio ensemble Arpa Cantabile and they have been performing regularly together since 1997.

Tickets for one concert and refreshments are against a donation of €20 per person.
