Two candidates who voters will find at the top of their party's respective lists were the guests of Rachel Attard, The Malta Independent's editor-in-chief, in this week's edition of Indepth.

Alex Agius Saliba, for Labour, and Peter Agius, of the Nationalist Party, were asked about the environment, justice and other topics.

As expected, with only two weeks to go to the election, there were several moments of confrontation during the programme.

Agius Saliba's battle-cry was that the PN works against Malta in international institutions such as the European Parliament, with Peter Agius replying by accusing his political counterparts as being either liars or incompetents.
