27 choirs for the Malta International Christmas Choir Festival 2019

For the second consecutive year, Regjun Tramuntana will be organising another edition of the Malta International Christmas Choir Festival.   This International Festival is once again being co-ordinated by Leon Promotions Malta and Euro Art Italy.

27 choirs will be participating in 9 unique concerts, to be held at different churches in the north of Malta, between Friday 6 and Sunday 8 December. 

These choirs will be singing various Christmas carols and other songs from their respective repertoires. Apart from this, some of the choirs will be also animating the Sunday 8 December morning mass,  at different churches

These 27 choirs are coming from Italy, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Spain, England, Estonia, Ireland, Greece and obviously from Malta.

These are the venues where this International Festival will be held:

Friday 6 December
St. Mary Parish Church - Dingli at 7pm 
The Nativity of Our Lady Collegiate Church - Naxxar at 7 pm 
Our Lady of the Grotto Church - Rabat at 7pm 
St. Mary Parish Church - Mgarr at 7.45pm

Saturday 7 December
St. Paul Collegiate Church - Rabat at 7.15pm
Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Church - St. Paul's Bay at 7.15pm
The Nativity of Our Lady Parish Church - Mellieha at 7.45pm
St. Francis of  Assisi Parish Church - Qawra at 7.45 pm

Sunday 8 December - International Choirs animating the Sunday Mass
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Church - Burmarrad at 10am
St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral - Mdina at 11am
The Risen Christ Parish Church - Pembroke at 11am
St. Lucy Parish Church - Mtarfa at 11am

Sunday 8 December - Final Concert
St. Mary Basilica Rotunda - Mosta at 7pm
A spectacular concert with the participation of all International Choirs ending up with the official presentations.

From ItalyCoro Cai l’Aquila , Coro Plifonicio Ouverture, Harmonia Mundi Choir and  Coro Cai Roma

From Lithuania - Viva Voce Choir , Harmonija Choir, Con Moto Chamber Choir, LKC Choras Gaustas and Suvalkija St. Cecilija Choir

From Bulgaria  - Teacher's Choir Ars Musica  and the Female Choir Prof. George Dimitrov

From Spain - Coral Municipal Molto Vivace , Escolania Salve de Laredo, Coral Polifonica de Mera and the Cor LLevant

From Englands

From Estonia - Ritsik Choir

From IrelandMEC Chamber Choir 

From Greece - Byzantine Voices

Tonio Bonello, Etienne Schembri, Clifford Galea and Sandra Grech will be the hosts of all mentioned concerts. Entrance for all the Malta International Christmas Choir Festival 2019 concerts, is free of charge.
