Is a sense of restlessness hitting you hard during self-isolation? ŻfinMalta is offering a unique way of letting our bodies breathe this week by offering a free ballet class online this coming Sunday.
As part of the national dance company's 'Dance is us' online campaign, the way nurture shapes an artistic practice and cultivates a love of art, for audiences and participants is being explored. And what better way to explore the creative process than by organizing an online ballet class for all abilities, backgrounds, and ages?
"There is something beautiful and rewarding about sharing what you love with others," commented Paolo Mangiola, ŻfinMalta's Artistic Director.
"I look forward to teaching this basic ballet class to anyone who has always wanted to try but never had the time, or perhaps felt a little shy. All our ballet dancers and I hope you will join us virtually in this experience!"
The free online class will be held next Sunday, 19th April, and will begin at 6pm. Participating is easy - send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Ballet class with ŻfinMalta. We will then send you an email with the Zoom meeting invitation and all the relevant information.
Everyone - irrespective of ability, background, or age is invited to attend. Dancing is for everyone, and we all deserve the happiness movement brings, particularly during these times. The only requirement is your own imagination and curiosity.
See you in class!
