The Medieval Palazzo, found in Malta’s old capital city, Mdina, is dedicated to the antiques collection of Captain Olof Gollcher. Gollcher was an artist, scholar and philanthropist, but also a discerning collector of objets d’art and historical objects. He occupied the palace, which he called ‘The Norman House’, from 1927 till his death in 1962. Here he spent many happy years together with his wife Nella, constantly adding to and rearranging his collections. The Museum opened its doors in 2007, honouring Gollcher’s wish that his home and collections be shared with the public.
Health and safety measures will be in place at all times and will continue to be monitored to ensure a safe experience of the Museum for our visitors. Consult with the guidelines of health and safety on www.palazzofalson.com before visiting the museum.
