Woman becomes 17th victim of Covid-19 in Malta

A woman has become the 17th victim of Coronavirus in Malta, the government announced today.

The woman, aged 91, had contracted the virus on 26 August and was admitted to Maltese Hospital on 6 September. She died late on Thursday evening.

The ministry said she suffered from other medical conditions.

The health ministry expressed its condolences to the family and urged everyone to follow guideliness established by the authorities.
