Covid-19: Five more patients die, 210 new cases found

210 new cases of Covid-19 were found over the past 24 hours, and five patients have died, the health authorities said in their daily update.

There are now 2,873 active cases, and the death toll has reached 369.

The patients who died were; two males aged 85 and 63, and three females, two aged 74 and the other aged 84. All five died at Mater Dei Hospital.

The total number of cases so far is 27,904.

There were 230 recoveries, for a total of 24,662 so far.

3,734 swab tests were performed between Friday and Saturday, for a total of 779,986.

Until Friday, 140,331 doses of the vaccine had been administered, of which 43,267 were second doses.
