Just 9 Covid-19 cases found as active cases continue to decrease

Just 9 new Covid-19 cases were found by health authorities as the number of active cases continued to decrease.

With 31 recoveries registered and no new deaths as a result of the virus, the number of active cases now stands at 225.

1,766 swab tests were carried out on Saturday, taking the total number of swab tests so far up to 883,785.

Meanwhile, 375,986 doses of the vaccine were administered up until Saturday.

257,781 of those were a first dose, while 119,427 people have now been fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,447 cases of the virus so far. 29,805 of them have recovered, while 417 have died.
