On Tuesday morning at 9.30 am, the police were informed that man suffered serious injuries in a field within the limits of Zewwieqa, Ghajsielem, Gozo.

The man is a 72-year-old resident in Ghajnsielem. It was later revealed that he had been injured while working with a plough.

He was given assistance by the medical team and taken to the Gozo General Hospital by ambulance where it was certified that he was seriously injured.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
