A worker was grievously injured while using machinery to cut wood, the police said.
The accident happened on a construction site in Triq ta’Gorf, Xaghra, at 3.30pm on Friday.
The worker, a 46-yearold Albanian man who resides in Xewkija, was taken to the Gozo Hospital for treatment.
